DESCRIPTION:The University of Washington Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences will hold a live virtual lecture on Cardiovascular Risk and Medical Surveillance for Firefighters on January 27\, 2022 from 12:00-1:30 pm.\n\n \n\nDr. Stefano Kales\, MD\, MPH\, Harvard University\, will present current research in the area of cardiometabolic risk and cardiovascular disease in firefighters.  Fire Chief Randy Krause\, MA\, Port of Seattle Fire Department\, will provide a practical update on the medical examination requirements for firefighters.
